5 Reasons We’re Loving Badminton!

You might have guessed that we’re pretty excited about next week’s Badminton Horse trials! We couldn’t resist sharing the moments and events we’re most looking forward to in our Top 5 Reasons! Here we go…

  1. Walking the course with Lucinda Green! Yes, Lucinda Green will be hosting a 2 hour course walk at Badminton on Friday 5th May. For just £15 this is a fantastic opportunity to get an insight into how to tackle the different types of fence and the many aspects of the course from a horse and rider´s point of view.  Meet at 12.15pm for 12.30pm  at fence 3 But beware, places are available on a first come, first served basis, so get there early!

2. Shopping! Badminton is the shopper’s mecca for all things horsey – and with over 275 outlets in the Shopping Village from riding wear, food and drink, gifts and jewellery, to horsey equipment from saddles to horse boxes – we’re going to be in heaven. Watch out wallets – you’re going to get a serious bashing!

3. Watching the cross country action – this is a real wowzer of an event for thrills and spills when it comes to cross country action. With no less than an exhausting 45 jumping efforts some of which tower at 1.45m, it’s sure to get us gasping. Can’t wait!

4. Catching a glimpse of  Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall as she presents the Mitsubishi Motors Trophy and other prizes at the conclusion of the Horse Trials on 7th May 2017. Love a Royal involvement!

 5. Seeing some of our favourite GB riders including Kristina Cook, Olly Townend and Ben Hobday, as well as some of our most exciting up and coming stars of the future such as Dani Dunne and Becky Woolven. Good luck to all our riders!
