What could be more British than a Panama hat? Or to be precise in this case, a fabulous Fedora from the lovely sisters at Hicks & Brown – Alice and Rosie.
We were super-excited when our gorgeous fedora arrived at the Totally Horse & Pony Magazine offices wrapped in tissue paper and oozing sophistication and charm, we couldn’t wait to try it on. Perfect fit! Yayy!!
The Aldeburgh Fedora is the newest addition to the Hicks & Brown collection. It is a lighter weight version of their popular Suffolk Fedora, with the same distinctive feathers and signature Hicks & Brown gold badge detail.
This hat features a cluster of beautiful natural feathers on a black ribbon.
To give it a proper testing, we’ve donned it at various horsey events so far this summer – and received complimentary comments everywhere we went! Lightweight and comfy to wear, it shaded our eyes from the sun – and looked super-glam into the bargain. It’s a definite keeper and is sure to get plenty more airings before this summer is out. Plus, we’ve got our eye on the wool felt ones for the winter months!
If you’d like to try one for size yourself (and we’d definitely recommend you do!), Rosie and Alice will be on the Hicks and Brown stand at various events including:
The Game Fair Stand No. C376
Hatfield House, Hertfordshire Friday 28th to Sunday 30th July
