Mini-shetland pony owner, author and young entrepreneur, 20 year old Hannah Russell is set to open up her first shop this weekend in Leyburn Market Town, North Yorkshire.
Hannah’s first book was published when she was just 17 years old about ‘Little Alf’ her miniature Shetland pony who stands at just 28 inches high due to him having dwarfism.
Little Alf has a huge online following with over 40K followers across the globe, he has his own website, twitter page, Facebook page and YouTube channel where Hannah blogs about him on a daily basis and his latest adventures. Little Alf even comes in to the house to enjoy a snack every now and again which usually consists of the carrots from the kitchen fridge.
The shop is set to open this weekend in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, which is where Hannah and Little Alf are based.
Hannah said ‘It’s great to be opening up a shop, I started writing just over 2 years ago, my first book about Little Alf was published in 2014 and I never imagined that I would now be open up a shop about him, it’s a dream come true! I have lots of plans and ideas for the shop which I will be developing in the next few months but it’s great to be situated in the Dales which is my home and Little Alf’s to.’
The shop has been tailored to fit with Hannah’s brand and has a country farm yard theme flowing throughout and large images of Little Alf around the shop with solid wood furniture which show of the Little Alf products.
The official shop launch is this Saturday – 8th July 2017. From 10:00am – 4:00pm.
